What is moissanite?
Moissanite is a gemstone made of silicon carbide. It occurs in nature only in tiny amounts, so the moissanite used in jewelry is created in a lab. It's its own gemstone, not a diamond, with its own distinctive fire and brilliance.
Will my moissanite lose its shine?
Moissanite's brilliance comes from the way the stone itself bends light, so it doesn't fade or cloud with age. Lotions and everyday wear can leave a film that dulls the sparkle; a gentle clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush brings it back.
How durable is moissanite?
Moissanite rates 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, which makes it very resistant to scratches and well suited to everyday wear.
What metals do you use?
Each product page lists its materials. Most pieces are 925 sterling silver or stainless steel, finished in rhodium or a bonded gold layer. Gold tones are finishes, not solid gold. To keep finishes looking their best, take pieces off before swimming or using a hot tub, and store them dry.
Why lab-created?
Lab-created stones are made in a controlled setting instead of being mined from the earth.
How do I find my ring size?
Each ring's page lists its available sizes in US sizing, and some styles are adjustable. If you're between sizes, we recommend the larger size. A local jeweler can measure your finger, or you can compare with a ring that already fits. If a ring doesn't fit, you can return it unworn within 30 days and order a different size.
Where do you ship, and how long does it take?
We ship within the United States only. Orders ship within 3 business days, and delivery usually takes 1 to 5 business days after that. Standard shipping is free on orders of $70 or more. See our Shipping page for details.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Yes. You can return unworn items within 30 days of delivery. To exchange, return the item and place a new order. See our Returns page for details.
Is this a good gift?
Our Gift Edit gathers pieces chosen for the season. If you're unsure of size, studs and pendants are the easiest pieces to give.
